What's the difference between a Systems-Built home and a modular home?

The term "modular" simply refers to homes that are built in sections and then are transported to the home site and assembled. The term "systems-built" more accurately reflects the hi-tech way we build our modular homes. We believe it's a better way to build and after you've evaluated the varirety of homes we offer, our construction process and the quality of our homes, we're confident you will feel the same way.

Here are just a few of the many advantages systems-built construction has over conventional construction methods.

  • To begin with, our floor and wall systems are power nailed and glued on "jigs". This construction method is much faster than conventional and it ensures that everything is square.
  • Our exterior walls are 2" x 6" construction for added strength.
  • Our ceiling drywall is installed using expandable foam. The foam provides better adhesion and is stronger than nails or screws. Plus you will never have a nail pop in a ceiling that has no nails.
  • Your home is constructed in ideal conditions regardless of the weather.
  • Damage due to vandalsim and weather is reduced because your unfinished" home is less exposed during construction.
  • Systems-built homes are built faster because more craftsmen work on your home at the same time. This reduces the time for construction loans and saves you money.
  • Please take the time to view How We Build Our Homes and our Construction Walk Thru for a more indepth look at systems-built technology...the high-tech way to build.

Can I get the home I want with systems-built construction?

All American Homes builds everything from modest ranch to elegant two story homes. We
offer hundreds of floorplans and each of these plans is customizable to meet your needs. Everyone is unique and we believe that you should get your home just like you want it.

What type of warranty do you offer?

Every All American Homes home comes with a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship. At the end of one year a two to ten year warranty applies. Specific products such as windows, faucets, shingles and others may carry additional and separate warranties from the manufacturer.

Once I decide to build...what is my next step?

Our suggestion is to look through our floorplans and decide on a home style and floorplan that you like. Then give us a call to make an appointment to discuss exactly what you want. We will explain the construction process in as much detail as you want and work with you on any modifications to the floorplans. We will explain how you can have your home on a basement or crawl space and work with you on positioning the home on your lot. You will decide what options and upgrades fit your needs. Once these decisions are made and financing is arranged your home is ordered. It takes only about eight to twelve weeks for your new home to be built!

We look forward to meeting with you soon!
